Baptism Class
Meet with children who would like to be baptized to teach and confirm that they
understand the significance and meaning of water baptism. Once a month class.
Greeters
Greet parents and children. Welcome visitors. Assist with directions, check in
procedures or escorting families to classrooms.
Check In
Assist parents in checking children into classes. Some computer skills required.
Facilities
Two ways to serve! Between services volunteers are needed to quickly inspect rooms and clean up any trash, sweep, straighten chairs, and return items to the Resource Room. During the week, volunteers are needed to thoroughly clean and organize each class-room.
Resource Coordinator
Maintain organization of Children’s Ministry resources and keep supplies stocked.
Security
Patrol hallways during services to provide security to classrooms. Monitor
classroom activity. Assist teachers as needed, etc.
Service Coordinator
Coordinate all aspects of service for a certain age group. This may include: making sure all teachers and assistants are present, filling in for absent teachers, making sure teachers have supplies and resources, praying with and for your team, training new volunteers, etc.
Snacks
Make sure classrooms are adequately stocked with snacks, cups and water.
Hospitality Supervisor
Oversee the Children’s Ministry Lounge and Hospitality Team on Sunday mornings. This includes set up/clean up, scheduling supervision during
services, and stocking supplies.
Team
Host the Children’s Ministry Lounge during services, monitoring those in the Lounge, keeping the area tidy and supplies refreshed.
