The Pastoral Care office provides ministry to people in need on a personal level. Our goal is to help individuals acknowledge and apply the promises of God’s word in crisis and everyday living. We are an extension of the Senior Pastor to the church body of The Highlands.
The Pastoral Care office offers assistance through: Biblical Guidance, Hospital Visitation, Crisis Care, Pre-marital Counseling, Weddings, Funerals, and prayer. Call the church office for more information.

Celebrate Recovery
The purpose of The Highlands Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the “8 Recovery Principles.” This experience allows us to “be changed.”

Cleansing Stream Discipleship
Cleansing Stream is a ministry that focuses on healing and restoration from deep-seated wounds, bondages, generational issues and brokenness, allowing the participant to experience a new and fresh encounter with God. Time commitment varies.

Funerals
Serve families during their time of loss at funeral and memorial services, includes set up/clean up, serving food, other special needs, etc.Time commitment varies.

Homebound
Many people cannot attend church services due to bad health, age, etc. Our Homebound Ministry is a group of dedicated, loving people who minister to our homebound members. Time commitment varies.

Infant Dedications
Assist families with infants being dedicated by meeting them, helping them find a seat, walking them to and from the platform at the appropriate time. 1 hour per assigned week.

Meals
The Meals Ministry is a team of people who provide loving care in a practical way for partners of The Highlands by providing meals for the immediate family during or after hospitalizations, or after there has been a death in the family.

Prepare to Last
“Prepare to Last” is an effective resource for helping engaged, newlywed, and seriously dating couples start strong and build a great marriage. The program includes 10 weekly sessions, date nights, and a powerful relationship inventory. Mentor couples are needed to assist with weekly sessions.
